Who is a YOUTH AMBASSADOR of React-Act-Prevent Sexual Violence?

An R.A.P.S.V. Youth Ambassador is an active volunteer, who is 

  • Interested to provide voluntary help to other people;

  • Willing to contribute towards protecting and safeguarding other young people from sexual violence;

  • Engaging to helping the project teams spreading important information among young people, through social media and other online means;

  • Willing to develop new skills, abilities and gain experience in identifying, helping and raising awareness among other young people again sexual violence;

  • A visionary person, with willingness and passion to actively contribute towards positive changes in the society.

WHAT DOES A YOUTH AMBASSADOR DO

A Youth Ambassador contributes enormously to the React-Act-Prevent Sexual Violence Project: 

  • Promote all online challenges promoted through the internet and social media. 

  • Disseminate and share awareness material for primary prevention including effective tools and good practices,through social media.

  • Speak among family, friends and peers about sexual violence prevention and the importance of primary prevention in protecting themselves and others.

  • Contribute and participate in dissemination events, aimed at raising awareness related to sexual violence prevention.

  • Exchange views and innovative ideas for planning and implementing new activities, including dissemination and awareness events. 

  • Join discussion groups to discuss works in progress, current events, proposed activities.

BENEFITS FOR BEING A R.A.P.S.V. YOUTH AMBASSADOR

R.A.P.S.V. Youth Ambassadors joining the project will gain the following:

  • Gain practical expertise and experience in developing, implementing and monitoring nation-wide awareness raising campaigns;

  • Network and establish contacts with other youth ambassadors from other EU countries;

  • Receive a Certificate honouring you as a Youth Ambassador;

  • Be honoured by officially presenting you as a pioneer Youth Ambassador, through all possible dissemination means, including publications and events organized throughout the project;
